Riverslea Digger
People from all the Eastern States attended the Riverslea On Farm Field Day. Many thanks to Russell Gray (Santa Gertrudis Breeders Australia Association - Field Director / Classifier) who gave some excellent presentations on cattle selection and conformation. Russell was on hand all day to discuss breeding programs, including bull and heifer selection. His depth of knowledge and approachability are exceptional. We thank him for his time and sharing his expertise.

CopRice were kept busy fielding enquiries from many interested cattle producers. Their display was complimented by the dozen Santa Gertrudis steers on display - who had been in the feedlot on Coprice pellets for 70 - 100 days. All the steers weighed between 540 & 600kg.
The Bottom Line!
Congratulations to Rodney Heard from Barooga who won the $250 voucher to spend at Riverslea. Rodney estimated the exact weight of the steer - which may mean we need to change the name of the competition form "guess" to "state the actual weight"! Congratulations to Rodney.
