Riverslea Bull & Breeder Sale 2017

Riverslea Bull & Breeder Sale 2017 sold to a top of $25,000.  Lot four, Riverslea Legend (P), 31 months, by Dangarfield Universe from Riverslea Honey, will go to stud at Rylsea, Ballarat.

Fourteen out of 25 bulls offered sold, creating a 56 per cent clearance and an average sale price of $6150.

Stud females, 19 in total, all sold to an average of $3800 to a top of $5500 twice, with strong demand for the article, including two sold to Dangarfield Stud and a further two going to Waco Santa stud. Marblebah Stud, Kagaru Qld, purchased the homozygous poll heifer, Riverslea L2 ptic to Yarrawonga Able for $5500.

Repeat clients, the Seivwright family, Injune Qld, purchased six stud females to average $3,900 paying a top of $5500 for Lot 30  - Riverslea K26 a Dangarfield Universe (PS) daughter with a bull calf at foot.

Volume buyers Landsborough stud, Winton, Qld bought four bulls and seven stud heifers including lot one Riverslea Kurrajong by Dangarfield Universe from Macaire 843, and Riverslea Military Man a son of Riverslea Digger both for $5000.

First-time client Jim Morrison, Fairfield via Bundarra, bought three bulls to average $7500 including lot 16, a herd bull - Riverslea Larrikin by Yarrawonga Able from Riverslea E956 for $8000.
